"Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader"

Children are encouraged to read at home on a daily basis. Reading aloud to your child or having a child read to you is one of many ways to help your child become a strong reader.

These books are recommended by the Corvallis Public Library, but may not be indicative of your child's reading level. Many older children enjoy reading small, "lower elementary" books and many young children love the challenge of an older child's chapter book. This list serves only as a reference for you and your child to explore the vast quantity of books available at the Corvallis Public Library.
