Learning to ride a bike is a rite of passage - one that demands child-led motivation, patience, and skill. Corvallis is recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as a bike friendly community, and like much of Corvallis, many families at CMS are avid bike commuters. Corvallis Spring Roll is our way of bringing together the greater Corvallis community around shared values of getting children active outdoors and celebrating community livability. Many bike commuters are kids, too!

Corvallis Spring Roll is a community bike and trike ride for all kids up to age 12. We award participation, raffle and door prizes at the event. The emphasis is on participation and effort, rather than in what place a rider finishes. On event day, local organizations will be on site offering clinics and other educational opportunities for kids. Corvallis Spring Roll is a fun way to encourage independence and kids' outdoor activity. It's also great motivation for dusting off our bikes - if they were parked all winter at all - to kick off a great bicycling season, either on the trail or around town. Come join the fun

This Corvallis Montessori School fundraiser is a place where kids and adults can have fun together and learn about bike safety, too. This year, a portion of any proceeds will go towards improving CMS’ bike parking area at the school. Part of last year's proceeds paid for fixing and maintaining bikes for CMS students to use on the riding loop on CMS' playground.
