CMS Parent Notice

Dear CMS Parents,

It is with great sadness that I must inform you that Venus Kohler and her family will be leaving the Corvallis area to move to Ohio during the summer. Venus, Eldon, and their two boys will be moving to Cleveland, Ohio to be near her sister and family.

Although Venus and Eldon have only been here since August, they have made an enormous contribution to this school. Venus has done a superb job as the elementary Montessori guide, and her husband, Eldon, has remodeled many rooms in the school and made it a much more aesthetic environment for everyone to spend each day.

I am sure your reaction to this news is similar to ours, which is one of deep sadness and a feeling of great loss. I know we feel fortunate to have known her and her lovely family and add that experience to those special experiences, which we shall always treasure.

The parents of students in the elementary classroom will be particularly disappointed at this news, owing to the fact that it is yet another change in the elementary classroom in a short period of time. However, I can assure you that my highest priority is in the well being of the students in the elementary classroom. I shall ensure that the replacement teacher will be of the same caliber as Venus.
